Jay Woodall Joins AACF Board of Trustees

AACF welcomes a new trustee to enhance automotive aftermarket sector support.

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced the election of Jay Woodall to its board of trustees. Woodall is general manager, national accounts retail/branded at Interstate Batteries.

The appointment of Woodall has been met with enthusiasm by key figures within the AACF. “We’re thrilled to welcome Jay as a new member of our Board,” said Joel Ayres, AACF executive director. “Interstate Batteries has had a long history of supporting AACF and Jay brings a wealth of talent in marketing and industry experience that will benefit the foundation,” Ayres continued.

With over three decades of expertise spanning sales and marketing within the automotive aftermarket and technology sectors, Woodall’s background has included leadership positions. These roles encompassed both automotive parts distribution and the Reverse-logistics technology sphere, showcasing his understanding of the industry’s intricacies.

Woodall himself expressed his strong motivation to participate in the AACF’s vital endeavors, particularly in assisting employees in the automotive aftermarket industry during their most challenging moments. “Recognizing the significant role played by the AACF, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals within the industry when they need it most,” said Woodall. “My aspiration is to be an active contributor to the AACF’s essential mission,” Woodall finished.

The AACF says this new addition to its board of trustees is anticipated to bring a wealth of knowledge and fresh perspectives, propelling the foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide crucial assistance to individuals within the automotive aftermarket sector.
