AACF Elects Jon Owens as Next Board President

Owens, national sales manager at Epicor, brings over two decades of AACF experience and a commitment to the aftermarket.

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has appointed Jon Owens as the new president of its Board of Trustees. Owens, a national sales manager at Epicor Software Corporation, brings over two decades of experience with AACF and a deep commitment to supporting the automotive aftermarket. His dedication to assisting industry families within the aftermarket industry has earned him respect, positioning him to guide AACF to even greater success, the Foundation said.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with our fantastic Board and Executive Committee, and our Executive Director Joel Ayres in leading us to extend our reach across the entirety of the aftermarket and help aftermarket families affected by unforeseen tragedy,” Owens said. “We know they’re out there, we just need them to know that we’re here to help.

“I am humbled to take on the role of President of this fantastic Foundation, the longest running charitable organization in the aftermarket, and follow in the footsteps of the many great leaders before me. Not the least of which is our current President and the man I will be succeeding, Larry Magee. He has done an amazing job in building our team and moving us forward, and I hope I am blessed enough to continue our good work as I follow in his giant footsteps.”

Other officers of the Foundation were also appointed: Luanne Brown, vice president; Ross Kogel, secretary; and George Afremow, treasurer.
