Cooper Standard Named GM Supplier of the Year

This is the sixth time Cooper Standard has received the award, recognizing global suppliers that exceed GM's requirements.

Cooper Standard announced it was recognized as 2022 Supplier of the Year by General Motors. This is the sixth time Cooper Standard has received the award.

Honorees were recently celebrated by GM at its 31st annual Supplier of the Year event in San Antonio, Texas.

GM’s Supplier of the Year award recognizes global suppliers that distinguish themselves by exceeding GM’s requirements, in turn providing customers with innovative technologies and among the highest quality in the automotive industry.

“We are proud to be again recognized by General Motors for our commitment to sustainable solutions that meet the needs of the evolving mobility industry,” said Shannon Quinn, vice president, chief commercial and strategy officer, Cooper Standard. “Our highly engaged team is dedicated to developing breakthrough innovations and implementing cutting-edge manufacturing and business processes to deliver the highest quality and most robust solutions. This latest Supplier of the Year award is a testament to their hard work.”

Beyond that, these suppliers demonstrated their commitment to sustainable innovation and to driving advanced solutions in collaboration with the GM team.”

Each year, GM’s Supplier of the Year recipients are selected by a global, cross-functional GM team for their performance in criteria such Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, Customer Care and Aftersales and Logistics.
