TCCI Manufacturing Unveils High-Voltage Electric Compressor

The 850V compressor, unveiled at MACS 2023, is available in 34cc/46cc/60cc/120cc.

TCCI Manufacturing will feature the first 850V electric compressor available to the commercial transport market at MACS 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. The 850V compressor, available in 34cc/46cc/60cc/120cc, provides optimal cabin and battery cooling for commercial battery-operated vehicles.

As the transportation sector shifts to sustainable mobility, it is TCCI’s mission to deliver products that support the changing paradigm. “By listening to customers and understanding their needs, TCCI has focused on innovation around the 400V and 850V products, which are poised to usher in a new era of commercial battery electric vehicles,” said Richard Demirjian, president of TCCI Manufacturing.

TCCI has been working with companies throughout the design and development phase to pave the road to sustainable transport—and those vehicles will soon be hitting the roads all over the world. The compressors are designed for up to 45,000 hours of life, almost twice the life of competitors. OEMs are able to optimize their systems to achieve fast charging times to help alleviate concerns around range anxiety. The 850V range of compressors are designed to run at 8500 RPM.
