Recochem Completes Acquisition of Torque Detail

The addition of Torque supports Recochem’s continued strategic expansion into the U.S. branded car care market.

Recochem, a global manufacturer and distributor of automotive aftermarket and household fluids, announced it has completed its acquisition of Torque Detail, a brand of automotive detailing products.

According to Recochem, Torque has a strong reputation for quality and service and offers a breadth of ceramic coatings, exterior and interior cleaners, and detailing accessories. Torque is a digitally native brand and has cultivated robust marketing and brand development capabilities to expand rapidly through online channels and grow a loyal following of satisfied customers.

The addition of Torque supports Recochem’s continued strategic expansion into the U.S. branded car care market. The company will continue to operate under the Torque brand, as a part of Recochem’s Car Care division. Recochem says Torque will be supported by the sophisticated product development team, manufacturing capability, digital marketing expertise, and distribution footprint of Recochem’s existing car care brands, including Adam’s Polishes, B&B Blending, P.O.R. Products and AutoChem.
