MERA to Host Workshop on Women, Power, Leadership, and Agency

Michelle Fanroy, president, Access One Consulting, will lead this interactive workshop hosted by MERA's Women in Remanufacturing Network.

MERA has announced it will host a workshop on “Women, Power, Leadership, and Agency,” from 12-1:30 p.m. EDT on Oct. 27. Michelle Fanroy, president, Access One Consulting, will lead this interactive workshop hosted by MERA’s Women in Remanufacturing Network.

During this 90-minute session, Fanroy and attendees will discuss women’s perceptions of power and how women today can demonstrate and harness that power for all their business endeavors. Fanroy also will share the latest research that has prompted a shift in how women are seen in both society and the corporate environment, why women make better leaders, and the fundamental forces at play that may hinder a woman’s ascension up the corporate ladder. Attendees will then work in breakout groups to discuss how each participant perceives her abilities. Attendees will leave with a list of self-evaluated strengths and areas of improvement.

Key takeaways from the session:

• How personal values are key to a woman’s ability to exercise her SUPERPOWER

• What it mean to create “agency” for oneself and other women within your sphere of influence

• How women can be seen in new and diverse ways

• How are you mentoring? Inclusive mentoring is not about titles. It’s about SKILLS!

• How do you see yourself? How are you challenging other women to see themselves?

This workshop is open to women from all MERA member companies. Please share the invitation with your colleagues who may not be currently active in the Network.

The workshop fee is $25 per person. To register, click here.
