The Auto Care Association’s Import Vehicle Community is now accepting nominations for the 2022 People Awards and entries for the 2022 Import Product and Marketing Awards program and showcases. The winners will be recognized at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas.
2022 Import Vehicle Community People Awards
The People Awards honor outstanding individuals in the import automotive industry whose accomplishments have significantly contributed to the import industry segment and its overall growth and progress. The People Awards will be presented at the Import Vehicle Community Luncheon and Awards Program on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at AAPEX.
The 2022 People Awards categories include:
- Hall of Fame Award
- Lifetime Industry Achievement Award
- Person of the Year Award
- Young Executive of the Year Award
The deadline to submit a nomination is Aug. 5.
2022 Import Product and Marketing Awards
The Import Product and Marketing Awards program is open to all AAPEX exhibitors and offers an excellent opportunity to gain visibility and recognition for product and marketing concepts for import nameplate vehicles.
All product award entries will be displayed in the awards program showcases during AAPEX and will be recognized during an awards presentation on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The 2022 Import Product and Marketing Awards categories for import vehicles include:
- Best Overall Import Aftermarket Product or Product Line
- Best New Product or Product Line
- Best Functional Fluid
- Best New Tool for Repairs
- Best Problem-Solver
- Best Packaging of a Product or Product Line
- Best Merchandising/Advertising of a Product or Product Line
- Best Catalog of a Product Line
- Best Electronic Media
