CVSN Raises Funds for Children’s Charity JUMPSTART

CVSN distributor and supplier members helped raise more than $65,000 in memory of the late John Bzeta of Fleet Brake Parts and Service at the second Children’s Charity Auction.

The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) announced its distributor and supplier members helped raise more than $65,000 in memory of the late John Bzeta of Fleet Brake Parts and Service at the second Children’s Charity Auction. The auction was held on June 7, 2022, on the final night of the 2022 CVSN Aftermarket Executive Summit at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Lake Tahoe, CA.

CVSN says it continued the Tuesday night tradition started at the Banff Alberta Aftermarket Executive Summit held in September 2019. Due to COVID, this was the first Summit since 2019. John’s wife Michelle, John’s mom Judy and the three Bzeta children, Ava, Jackson and Matthew, were all on hand to honor John as the 2022 President’s Award winner and have the Charity Auction renamed in honor of the late John Bzeta.

Since 2005, JUMPSTART has helped 2.5 million kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities, CVSN says. Its mission is to enrich the lives of kids in need through sport and physical activity.

“The generosity of our industry continues to impress me. A special thank you to all who donated items for the auction and generously bid and won the items of their choice,” said CVSN Executive Vice president Angelo Volpe.
