Women in Auto Care 2022 Awards Now Open

Recipients will be honored at the Women in Auto Care Awards Ceremony during AAPEX 2022.

Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, today announced it is accepting nominations for the 2022 Women of the Year and Automotive Communications Awards. Recipients of the 2022 awards will have demonstrated their ability to rise to the occasion in a dynamic industry landscape and position themselves and their companies for future success. All Auto Care Association member companies and employees are eligible to participate.

Award recipients will be recognized through a variety of channels and honored at the Women in Auto Care Awards Ceremony during the 2022 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), taking place Nov. 1-3 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Women in Auto Care annually honors deserving women throughout the industry highlighing those who have made a significant impacts and contributions.   

  • Auto Care Woman of the Year – This lifetime achievement award is presented annually to a woman who is a leader, mentor and role model who has made significant and outstanding contributions throughout her career to the auto care industry.
  • Auto Care Woman of Excellence – This award is presented annually to a Women in Auto Care member who has provided recent outstanding contributions to the auto care industry while demonstrating role model behaviors, leadership and commitment to the advancement of women. She is considered a rising star in the industry.
  • Female Shop Owner of the Year – This award is presented annually to an outstanding female shop owner who demonstrates role model behaviors, leadership and commitment to the advancement of women.
  • [NEW] Auto Care Female Shop Team Member of the Year – This award will be presented annually to a woman who has excelled in her role, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and skill and model behavior as a part of the shop team. This can include technicians, service writers, customer service, managers and any other roles within the shop.

Nominations are free and only take a minute. The deadline for nominations is Thursday, June 30.
