Clearlake Capital-Backed Wheel Pros Acquires Teraflex

This strategic acquisition expands Wheel Pros’ suspension and performance shock product offerings.

Wheel Pros, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of proprietary branded aftermarket vehicle enhancements for light trucks, SUVs, passenger cars and ATVs/UTVs backed by Clearlake Capital Group L.P. and in partnership with management, has acquired TeraFlex, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket suspensions, shocks, and other components for automotive and off-roading enthusiasts.TeraFlex’s Founder and CEO Mark Falkner, President Benjamin Falkner, and VP of Organizational Development Ian Falkner will remain with the combined company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in West Jordan, Utah, TeraFlex has established brands, such as Falcon, and in-house product development capabilities that deliver high-performance, quality products. TeraFlex operates three domestic U.S. facilities and sells 3,470 distinct product SKUs across 24 core product families. The company distributes its products to more than 1,250 dealers and more than 500 total customers across 47 U.S. states and 35 countries globally.
