The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) leadership has announced that the late John Bzeta of Fleet Brake Parts and Service in Alberta, Canada, has been named the recipient of the 2022 President’s Award. Bzeta was a CVSN member and served on the CVSN board for many years. “He was a true gentleman and influencer in our industry,” CVSN said in announcing the posthumous award.
Bzeta also was a longtime member and board member of the HDA Truck Pride marketing group.
The award will be presented to John’s wife Michelle Bzeta and their children Jackson, Ava and Matthew, at the annual CVSN Aftermarket Distribution Summit on June 6 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Truckee (Lake Tahoe), California. The dates for the CVSN Summit are June 4-8.
Building on the very successful Alberta Children’s Hospital Charity Auction at the 2019 Summit in Banff, Alberta, (the last CVSN in person Summit due to COVID), the Children’s Charity Auction at this year’s event will be renamed the “John Bzeta Memorial Children’s Charity Auction” with all proceeds going to one of John’s favorite charities, JUMPSTART. This will be the name of the event for all future Summits to support children’s charities.
