Registration Open for 2022 YANG Leadership Conference

The conference will take place May 20-21, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), an under-40 community of the Auto Care Association, is now accepting registrations for its annual YANG Leadership Conference. The 2022 YANG Leadership Conference will take place May 20-21, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando in Orlando, Florida. This year’s YANG Leadership Conference is part of Auto Care Connect, the Auto Care Association’s largest industry gathering that brings together four conferences in one location to maximize networking, collaboration and educational opportunities for enhanced industry connections.

The YANG Leadership Conference is tailored to young professionals in the auto care industry to facilitate building connections with peers, learning from industry experts and coming together as one collective industry by sharing the best of ideas and solutions for today’s automotive aftermarket industry challenges. This in-person event provides unique and industry-focused programming opportunities to enhance leadership skills, knowledge of the industry and capabilities for attendees to earn CEU credits.

Public Speaking Opportunities
This year’s YANG Leadership conference includes YANG’s signature “Five for Five” sessions, which feature a variety of five-minute presentations that share topics in a concise, engaging way from speakers across the industry. Following the five-minute presentations is a small-group round table session led by each presenter to discuss the bite-sized takeaways from their topics. The Five for Five sessions offer young industry professionals an opportunity to develop and sharpen their public speaking skills in a relaxed and friendly environment among their peers.

Scholarships Available
The YANG Council also announced the return of the Next Step Program scholarship. Next Step Program winners will receive free registration to the 2022 YANG Leadership Conference and an additional night stay in Orlando. Each Next Step winner will receive a scholarship of up to $2,000 to offset most expenses for travel and accommodations to, from and during the event. Most meals are also included. The winners of this scholarship have the opportunity to participate in up to 25 meetings and to network with over 450 veteran industry leaders during the course of the YANG Leadership Conference, says YANG.
