AASA Hosts First Successful Live Conference Since Pandemic

AASA Hosts First Successful Live Conference Since Pandemic

The Technology Conference was held in Memphis, Tennessee, on Oct. 11-12 with an additional online content portion for those not able to travel.

The annual AASA Technology Conference hosted by the AASA Technology Council (ATC) was AASA’s first live event post COVID-19 restrictions and took place on October 11-12 in Memphis, Tenn. Headlining the event was AutoZone’s Mark Finestone Customer Spotlight session. Attendees also heard from experts about new levels of connectivity for vehicles, data access, supply chain, digital commerce, advocacy, electrification and pricing technologies for an action-packed and informative two days. Partners Roland Berger and Carlisle & Company also provided a deep dive into pricing in a multi-channel sales environment, which was a conference favorite. The live event was followed by a virtual conference for those who were not comfortable traveling, which took place on October 18-19.

Apart from sessions, panels, and round-table discussions, one of the highlights of the AASA Tech Conference is the ability to support the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). This year, attendees raised $750 to support aftermarket families who are in need and provide them with resources, guidance, and financial support.

“This is a cause that is near and dear to AASA and the aftermarket,” said Paul McCarthy, president and CEO of AASA. “Especially after two very trying pandemic years it was wonderful to gather together in person and rally behind such a great cause while also taking a deep dive into the latest and greatest in aftermarket technology.”

The AASA Technology Conference is the aftermarket’s business technology event. It brings together the brightest minds in aftermarket business technology for invaluable information and discussions covering the latest trends within the aftermarket technology community, including business processes, IT, catalog data, cybersecurity, data analytics and more. Join us next year in 2022.
