Auto Care Association Website Now Offers Spanish Language Accessibility

Auto Care Website Now Offers Spanish Accessibility

This new expansion of the website to include accessibility in Spanish is part of the association’s continued effort to strengthen and expand the reach of the global automotive aftermarket supply chain.

As part of the United States recognizing October as “National Hispanic Heritage Month,” the Auto Care Association today announced the launch of its Spanish language feature on the autocare.org website. The association launched a new look and feel to its website earlier this year to provide its members and the auto care industry a one-stop shop for the tools and resources most important to running an auto care business. This new expansion of the website to include accessibility in Spanish is part of the association’s continued effort to strengthen and expand the reach of the global automotive aftermarket supply chain.

Expanding the Global Supply Chain
Auto Care Data Standards provide data standards for aftermarket businesses, which helps companies across the globe to communicate, effectively and consistently, between trading partners around the world. The use of Auto Care Data Standards is the single-most effective way to communicate with your trading partners.

The new Spanish language feature on the autocare.org website provides a new opportunity to bring the association’s United States, Canadian and other English-speaking member companies closer to the Latin American market with Auto Care Data Standards:

  • NEW: The Vehicle Configuration database (VCdb) now offers Spanish translations using ACES
  • NEW: The VCdb is expanding its coverage to offer vehicles in South American countries

The addition of the Spanish language to Auto Care Data Standards provides members an easier and more efficient way to get the right part, to the right place, at the right time by using data standards to speak the same technical language as their customers across Latin America.

Strengthening Global Connections
Providing access to the autocare.org website in Spanish gives association members and the aftermarket industry an additional way to make expanding the reach of their businesses throughout Latin America easier than ever. Auto Care Association members can now explore and identify new opportunities for engagement, networking and business prospects throughout Latin America, including business development opportunities, events and community and committee activities.

“The Auto Care Association is dedicated to identifying new ways to drive the industry forward. We are pleased to offer this much-needed and much-anticipated new Spanish-language feature through our Auto Care Association website,” said Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. “Providing our members the ability to access our industry resources and identify new ways to improve and expand their businesses through the Spanish language will undoubtedly help to strengthen and expand the global auto care industry.”
