Team Car Care Appoints Steve Werner CEO

Werner moves into the position as Jeff Balagna, former CEO, transitions into a strategic advisor role on the Team Car Care board.

Team Car Care, LLC. (dba Jiffy Lube), a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, L.P., announced recently that it has appointed Steve Werner as president and chief executive officer.

With 30 years of experience at Team Car Care, Werner is the first CEO appointed from within the organization in which he started as a courtesy tech in 1990. Werner is a Jiffy Lube veteran having held every store level and operations management position within Team Car Care, most recently serving as executive vice president of operations. He moves into the position as Jeff Balagna, former CEO, transitions into a strategic advisor role on the Team Car Care board.

Werner said, “I am honored to accept the role of CEO as Jeff Balagna takes on his new assignment and would like to personally thank him for his leadership and vision that propelled us to where we are today. I’m excited about our future and look forward to building on the transformation and growth trajectory our team has achieved in the past two and a half years. This includes continuing to improve our service offering, upgrading our facilities and expanding into new services in collaboration with Jiffy Lube International.”

Balagna said, “Steve understands our business inside and out and has a proven track record of success rooted in operational excellence. It was truly an honor to lead this team and I look forward to the incredibly bright outlook of our business as we continue to deliver a consistently outstanding experience for every customer, every day.”
