The Network Extends Latin American Footprint

DIREGO, which stands for Distribuidora de Refacciones del Golfo, is Mexico’s largest heavy-duty distributor.

The Automotive Distribution Network (The Network) continues to drive its reach within Latin America with the recent signing of DIREGO, based in Tampico, Mexico.

“As the Network expands in regions primed for growth, DIREGO reflect the group’s commitment to signing likeminded companies in the Latin America,” says David Prater, president of The Network. “DIREGO is a company on the move, with the largest heavy distribution in all of Mexico.”

DIREGO, which stands for Distribuidora de Refacciones del Golfo, is Mexico’s largest heavy-duty distributor. The company was founded in 1996 in Tampico, Mexico, and is led by Alejandro Garcia and Alex Jr. They are currently one of VIPAR Heavy Duty’s top 10 distributors. The company has 20 warehouses, four DCs and three manufacturing plants. DIREGO manufactures heavy-duty springs, and sell throughout Mexico, the U.S. and Central/South America. The company initiated its light-duty division two months ago, and decided to partner with The Network to assist in its success.
