DENSO Captures Two Prestigious 2020 APA Awards

Aftermarket auto parts buyers honor DENSO as both a supplier and OE partner.

DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has earned two coveted awards in the same year from Automotive Parts Associates (APA) Inc.: the 2020 Distinguished Original Equipment (OE) Partner Award and the 2020 Supplier of the Year Award.

“Earning two awards at the same time from this important group of highly knowledgeable buyers is an extraordinary achievement,” said Fran Labun, vice president of DENSO’s Aftermarket Sales Group. “APA members have honored DENSO Products and Services with a double stamp of approval.”

APA’s Distinguished OE Partner Award recognizes a leading vendor that has successfully brought its OE products into the automotive aftermarket, supplied APA members with top quality replacement parts and provided exceptional customer support for their operations and initiatives. DENSO was the inaugural recipient when APA first introduced the award in 2015 and also received the honor in 2018.

The organization’s Supplier of the Year Award is one of two new awards based on benchmarks APA recently updated to give its members the ability to nominate suppliers that provide the best support and service for their businesses as a whole. Both honors replace previous APA awards.
