The AAM Group Names Mark Franchetti Employee Of The Year

Franchetti creates growth opportunities through new product lines, product education, and rebate and promotional awareness.

The AAM Group has named Vendor Support Specialist Mark Franchetti as the organization’s 2020 Employee of the Year and recipient of the W.O.W. Award. Franchetti creates sales growth and business opportunities by communicating with members of AAM’s reseller community and sharing his findings back to AAM’s vendor partners and WD members. Franchetti creates growth opportunities through new product lines, product education, and rebate and promotional awareness.

The W.O.W Award is named after Wilber and Orville Wright, who were committed to following their dreams in their dogged pursuit to create the world’s first controlled airplane. The Wright brothers threw out the status quo to make room for innovation, even when the world believed they would fail. This annual award symbolizes all the positive traits shared by the Wright brothers: commitment, consistency, innovation, initiative, resourcefulness and more. It is awarded to the employee who has had the most positive impact on the company over the past year by demonstrating these qualities.

“It is an honor and privilege to receive this AAM Employee of the Year award. When I joined the AAM team a little over 2 years ago, I immediately felt at home and welcomed to the team. To be able to work with a cohesive group of co-workers, members, and vendors in an industry that I love (and that has been my career since I got out of high school) makes it a pleasure to start work each day.” Franchetti said, “I must say that my tenure here has been the most satisfying of my career, and to be recognized with this award is the highlight of my career. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!”

Tim Odom, AAM’s president, stated, “Mark is a tremendous asset to our team. He contributes great value in his role and provides context and industry knowledge and perspective to many of his teammates. His insights into the needs and expectations of local resellers have informed many decisions and added new dimension to our team.”
