People On The Move: Jan. 20-24

A look back at personnel changes of the past week.

Discount Tire has promoted Dean Muglia to the role of CEO. Muglia served as the company’s chief corporate officer and succeeds Michael Zuieback, who will retain the role of executive chairman for the company.

Gentherm has announced that Chairman of the Board, Francois Castaing, has informed the company’s board of directors of his intention to retire at the end of his current term. The board of directors unanimously agreed to appoint Ronald Hundzinski as the new chairman of the board, effective as of the 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, subject to Hundzinski’s re-election.

ATEQ TPMS Tools has appointed Rafid Abood to technical support specialist. Abood’s responsibilities will include aiding customers in troubleshooting TPMS related issues, training customers with ATEQ TPMS Tools and TPMS tools with “powered by ATEQ” software.

Carlisle Companies Inc. has announced the appointment of Laura Walsh to the position of vice president and chief information officer. Walsh joined Carlisle in 2018 as vice president of information technology and was previously vice president and chief information officer for Lydall Inc.

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced the selection of Larry Magee to serve as vice president of the board of trustees. Magee has been involved with the Foundation for more than 25 years, and currently serves on the Foundation’s Executive Committee, Recipient Review Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Golf Committee.

The board of directors for Midwest Wheel has appointed Michael Callison Jr. to the position of president/CEO, replacing John Minor, who is retiring. Minor moves into an adviser role and continues as a board member after nearly 48 years with the company.
