Bill Frymoyer Joins MEMA As New Vice President Of Public Policy

Frymoyer comes to MEMA from the law firm Stewart and Stewart, where he served as a senior adviser since 2005. He focused on promoting trade and energy policies to assist the U.S. and global manufacturing sector, enhancing patent and intellectual property protections, assisting clients with NAFTA renegotiation priorities, and working on appropriations provisions for clients.

MEMA has welcomed Bill Frymoyer as its new vice president of public policy, effective immediately. His responsibilities will include assisting the MEMA government affairs team represent members of AASA and the other MEMA divisions (Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, MERA – The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing and Original Equipment Suppliers Association) in Washington at a critical time for the supplier industry. 

Frymoyer comes to MEMA from the law firm Stewart and Stewart, where he served as a senior adviser since 2005. He focused on promoting trade and energy policies to assist the U.S. and global manufacturing sector, enhancing patent and intellectual property protections, assisting clients with NAFTA renegotiation priorities, and working on appropriations provisions for clients.

Before joining Stewart and Stewart, Frymoyer was director of public policy at the National Environmental Trust, and senior policy adviser for Democratic leader Richard Gephardt in the U.S. House of Representatives. He holds a degree in history from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree in international public policy from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
