Adient Adds Retired AT&T Exec José Gutiérrez To Its Board Of Directors

Gutiérrez served as senior executive vice president and chief of staff to the chairman and CEO of AT&T from 2015 until his retirement at the end of 2016. Prior to assuming this position and over his 25-year career at AT&T, he held numerous senior executive positions.

Gutiérrez served as senior executive vice president and chief of staff to the chairman and CEO of AT&T from 2015 until his retirement at the end of 2016. Prior to assuming this position and over his 25-year career at AT&T, he held numerous senior executive positions, including president of AT&T Wholesale and Access Solutions, president and CEO of AT&T Advertising Solutions, president of AT&T Global Enterprise Solutions and president and CEO of Southwestern Bell.

Gutiérrez earned a Master of Management (MBA) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He earned a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Accountancy summa cum laude, both from the University of Missouri.

Goodyear Names New Americas Unit President

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has named Ryan Waldron as president of the company’s Americas business unit, reporting to Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Stewart. He succeeds Steven R. McClellan, who retired on April 1.

“At Goodyear, our customers are at the center of everything we do, and in Ryan Waldron, we have a customer-centric, execution-focused business leader with a deep understanding of both the marketplace and all aspects of our business, as well as a proven track record of delivering results,” Stewart said. “I am thrilled to announce him as president of Goodyear’s Americas business and have enormous confidence that under his leadership, both the company and our customers will reach even greater levels of success.”
