Akebono Brake Corp. Promotes Borise Cota To Aftermarket National Sales Manager

For the past 18 years, Cota has led the Western Region, in addition to overseeing the Canadian market.

 

Akebono Brake Corp. announces the promotion of Borise Cota to national sales manager for the company’s North American Aftermarket Operations. For the past 18 years, Cota has led the Western Region, in addition to overseeing the Canadian market.

“Borise’s aftermarket experience, technological knowledge, history with the company and exemplary relationships with Akebono’s customers make him a natural fit for the national sales position,” said Wilm Uhlenbecker, president and CEO, Akebono Brake Corp. “We congratulate his past achievements and look for even greater accomplishments in his new role.”

Cota was part of the original sales team when Akebono launched its US Aftermarket division in 2000. He will continue to be based in San Diego, California, and will report to Russ Stebbins, director of Aftermarket Business Unit Americas.
