The Automotive Distribution Network (The Network) has continued its annual donation to the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). Annual contributions, like these from The Network, are vital to the AACF. The foundation helps put food on the table and provides shelter and other basic necessities for automotive aftermarket businesses and their families until they can get back on their feet.
“You never know when disasters like the Camp and Woolsey Fires or Hurricane Harvey will hit, gravely affecting the families of the automotive aftermarket community,” said David Prater, president of The Network. “The Network makes it a point to donate every year, so the AACF can help immediately when tragedies like this strike. The auto care industry is like a big family, and together we should look out for one another when a devastating crisis occurs.”
“Hundreds of aftermarket employees and their families live in the areas hit hardest by these wildfires,” said Joel Ayres, AACF executive director. “Thanks to annual donations from The Network and other members of the Auto Care Association, we can quickly reach auto care families who have suffered catastrophic damage.”
