BG Products Inc. has received three awards as part of the Wichita Business Journal’s 2018 Manufacturing, Wholesale and Distribution Awards.

With more than 100 companies nominated, BG accepted awards in the following categories:

  • Emerging Leader
  • Export
  • Overall Excellence
Ron Garcia, CFO and COO, and Jeremy Henry

Jeremy Henry, BG’s director of operations, was chosen as the 2018 Emerging Leader by the Journal. “Employed with BG for more than 15 years, Henry is committed to continuous improvement and success. We are pleased to announce this well-deserved achievement,” BG Products stated in a release.

The addition of new authorized distributors internationally as well as the creation of a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, BG Automotive Products Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. made BG the leader in the “Export” category. The company said this increased exposure drives business to this distributor network and results in greater BG awareness worldwide.

The company added that the final award it received for “Overall Excellence” is a testament to BG’s commitment to quality and superior service. “We can confidently say we develop products that really work,” said Darin Greseth, president and CEO. “When drivers use BG products, they can be assured that they are using the best in preventive maintenance for their vehicle.”
