K&N Engineering Announces Traditional Aftermarket Program, Adds 2 New Regional Sales Managers

To support the company’s new traditional aftermarket initiative, K&N has announced the addition of two regional sales managers to its team: Brian Horvath and Matt Kenefick.

K&N Engineering, an aftermarket filtration manufacturer, has announced the introduction of a new DIFM program designed for warehouse distributors serving service providers and fleets for the traditional automotive aftermarket. The program features K&N’s premium oil filters, premium air filters, K&N washable air filters and K&N washable cabin air filters, along with K&N’s 1 million mile warranty.

K&N says the combination of premium filtration with its long-life warranty results in enhanced margins for the WDs and the service providers they serve.

To support the company’s new traditional aftermarket initiative K&N has announced the addition of two regional sales managers to its team.Brian Horvath has joined K&N as its regional sales manager managing the Western half of the United States. In his new role, Horvath brings more than 30 years of aftermarket experience and will be responsible for developing sales with traditional warehouse distributors. Prior to K&N Horvath worked for Akebono Corp., where he was the Central regional sales manager and national program group manager.

In addition, Matt Kenefick joins K&N as the Eastern regional sales manager responsible for traditional warehouse distributor sales and new business development for the Eastern half of the United States. Kenefick comes to K&N from Lumileds, where he was the eastern regional manager. His previous employers include Dorman and Gates.

Additional responsibilities for Horvath and Kenefick include the development of sales strategies to help the K&N customers realize their sales and margin objectives in the traditional aftermarket.
