Automatic Transmission Service Group To Be Acquired By ETE REMAN

“ETE will provide ATSG with the resources it needs to continue serving transmission specialists and rebuilders, and ATSG will provide ETE with its vast technical knowledge,” said Sam Loshak, ETE REMAN founder and CEO.

ETE REMAN, one of the largest aftermarket automatic transmission remanufacturers in the United States, announced the acquisition of ATSG (Automatic Transmission Service Group), one of the leaders in automatic transmission technical support and training. ATSG President Wayne Colonna will both remain in his current role and become the new technical director at ETE REMAN.

“This is a perfect marriage,” said Sam Loshak, ETE REMAN founder and CEO. “ETE will provide ATSG with the resources it needs to continue serving transmission specialists and rebuilders, and ATSG will provide ETE with its vast technical knowledge, helping to improve the quality of both the transmissions we remanufacture and the phone support we offer.”

Colonna added, “I’m thrilled for the chance to do my research in a world-class facility. ETE’s level of sophistication is unmatched anywhere, and the access ATSG will now have to late model transmissions, dynos and frankly, an R&D budget we’ve never had before, solidifies our future. It means ATSG is going to be here for transmission shops for a long, long time.”
