Bar’s Leaks Releases Trans Fix for Transmission Repairs

Bar’s Leaks super-concentrated Trans Fix formula is a cost effective solution for transmission repair, the company said.

Bar’s Leaks has released a super-concentrated transmission repair product, called Bar’s Leaks Trans Fix (p/n 1415). The company said one 11.5 oz. bottle delivers the same performance as a 16.9 fl. oz. bottle of Bar’s Leaks Super Transmission Fix (p/n 1416) for transmission repairs.

“Bar’s Leaks Trans Fix eliminates the need for specialized transmission stop leaks,” said Clay Parks, vice president of development for Bar’s Leaks. “It can solve just about any type of transmission issue, from leaks to jerking, slipping, or shuddering. Our new, smaller bottle makes it a more versatile, cost-effective choice, as well.”

Trans Fix is a synthetic-blend treatment for transmission fluid, seals, metal surfaces, bands and clutch plates. It is compatible with all automatic and manual transmissions, as well as CVTs (continuously variable transmissions) and DCTs (dual clutch transmissions), the company said.

Bar’s Leaks said the Trans Fix product has a proprietary additive package that includes seal conditioners, extreme pressure/anti-wear agents, advanced cleaning detergents and a performance booster. Together, they stop current leaks and prevent new ones, eliminate slipping and rough shifting, improve shift feel, reduce noise and prolong the useful life of a transmission, the company said.
