As automotive and industrial part manufacturers seek to maintain pace with the growing demand for replacement parts in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries, Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, will present its go-to-market and automotive aftermarket service strategies during the 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Asia Pacific Summit, Sept. 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand. John Bohenick, Dayco CEO, will serve as keynote speaker during the second edition of the conference and will address the challenges the industry faces in this market.

Dayco - Bohenick Headshot“Whether we’re speaking to distributors, retailers or mechanics in emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, or in established markets, our goal is to help our customers be even more successful,” said Bohenick. “For our aftermarket customers, we focus on providing detailed catalog and application intelligence, high-quality products, systems and solutions, timeliness and training, resulting in a seamless service experience from delivery to technical support.”

As the market rapidly grows, the automotive aftermarket in ASEAN countries is expected to become a $38 billion industry by 2025. During the 2016 Automotive Aftermarket Asia Pacific Summit, attendees will learn about laws, regulations and codes of conduct in ASEAN countries, how to communicate with vehicle owners and service providers and the best ways to integrate traditional aftermarket methods with the internet.

“There is no denying the growth of the automotive aftermarket business in Southeast Asia,” said Arnold Mouw, managing director of Dayco’s business in the region, who also will represent Dayco during the two-day event. “Dayco is a well-known brand in this region and we look forward to discussing the market with other industry professionals while in Bangkok.”
