APC Automotive Technologies Names Frank Frederick As Executive VP Of Sales

Frederick will oversee all of the customer-facing and channel strategy functions for both AP Emissions and Centric Parts.

APC Automotive Technologies LLC (APC), a leading supplier of automotive, light truck and heavy-duty replacement parts, has announced that Frank Frederick has been appointed as executive vice president of sales for the combined APC Sales Team. The announcement was made by Hugh Charvat, CEO of APC Automotive Technologies, who noted that Frederick will oversee all of the customer-facing and channel strategy functions for both AP Emissions and Centric Parts.

Charvat said, “Frank comes to us with over 23 years of executive and sales management experience in the automotive aftermarket. His proven leadership record with several of the industry’s leading parts manufacturers is precisely what we need for our unified sales team and our steadily growing organization. I’m excited about how we’ve evolved both AP Emissions and Centric Parts since the merger and having worked with Frank in the past, I know he can work with our sales team to continue our growth and strategic expansion.”

Frederick said, “I am very excited to join the APC Automotive Technologies management team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a dynamic and top-notch organization with a portfolio of well-known brands. The APC product portfolio has a lot to offer the diverse aftermarket customers we currently serve and I look forward to working with them to make our AP Emissions and Centric Parts customers even more successful.”

Charvat added, “When it comes to combined expertise, thought leadership and product knowledge, our sales team is the best in the business. The APC sales program and leading undercar portfolio gives our customers the opportunity to buy the best in braking systems, emissions control technology and chassis components from a single source aftermarket supplier. We welcome Frank’s expertise, hands-on leadership and day-to-day involvement with our customers and their professional installers.”

Before joining APC, Frederick was general manager of Schrader Performance Sensors, a part of Sensata Technologies, a global technology and market share leader in tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors. During his tenure there, which began in 2014, Frederick helped build the Schrader TPMS aftermarket channel up from its early growth stages to the significant leadership position it currently possesses in the aftermarket.

Prior to Schrader, Frederick was vice president, North American Light Duty Aftermarket for Remy International. He was responsible for overall strategic direction as well as sales, marketing, pricing, product management, catalog, category management, field technical services and training. Frederick also served ROL Manufacturing of America for 15 years as executive vice president, sales and marketing, where he managed all OEM and aftermarket activities.

Frederick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.
