LinkData Technologies Co., a high-tech enterprise in China’s new energy industry, will unveil its latest electric car to at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
The company will debut U-bike, a neighborhood electric vehicle powered by Panasonic lithium-ion batteries with a width of 920mm and a total weight of 180-kilograms (396 lbs.), with a 100-kilometer (62-mile) driving range. Equipped with intelligent interconnection function and two sets of its portable batteries, U-bike will define the brand-new experience of short distance mobility, according to LinkData. U-bike is expected to be lightweight enough to provide more convenient and environmental-friendly solution for daily commute.

The residual value of each battery will be tapped by secondary use and they will be recycled at the end of lifecycle. LinkData says this solution can maximize the value of every battery cell and form a complete circulation industry chain. LinkData is planning to form a closed-loop industry chain in future, and will become a data and platform company on the basis of pre-operation for the next decade.
