OEC Associates Spend Afternoon Serving 13 Local Non-Profit Organizations

OEC associates donated more than 640 hours of labor to a number of charitable organizations and services.

OEConnection LLC (OEC) held its sixth annual Community Connection Day, enabling company associates to volunteer time to local non-profit organizations. More than 200 associates from the company’s Cleveland and Columbus offices spent half a day working on various community service projects throughout the Cleveland, Akron and Columbus areas.

OEC associates donated more than 640 hours of labor to a number of charitable organizations and services, including:

  • Akron Rotary Camp
  • Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park
  • Cornerstone of Hope
  • Cornucopia
  • Good Will Columbus
  • Hattie Larlham
  • Keep Akron Beautiful
  • Life Care Alliance Columbus
  • Medwish International
  • Ohio & Erie Canal Way Coalition
  • One of a Kind Pet Rescue
  • Western Reserve Historical Society

“Community service is one of OEC’s core values. We provide our associates with eight hours of paid time off per year to volunteer to a non-profit organization of their choice. In addition to that, our annual Community Connection Day provides an opportunity for associates to connect with each another and further serve their local community,” said Amy French, OEC executive vice president for human resources. “Associates look forward to this day of giving every year, as it has grown to be an integral part of our culture.”
