Merrill Company Employee Wins 2017 Auto Care Association Impact Award

The Impact Award recognizes four aftermarket professionals age 40 or younger who have made remarkable contributions within the auto care industry.

Arnold Motor Supply announced that VP of Distribution Kyle Byrne is a recipient of the 2017 Auto Care Association Impact Award.

The Impact Award recognizes four aftermarket professionals age 40 or younger who have made remarkable contributions within the auto care industry.

Byrne has shown a passion for the auto care industry throughout his career, and has been an active member in the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) and has taken advantage of continuing-education opportunities and networking.

Byrne has moved quickly through the ranks at Arnold Motor Supply since his first position in 2001 as delivery driver for the company’s Arnold Motor Supply location in Muscatine, Iowa. He has worked in store management, increasing store sales and gross profit significantly at each location he has managed, according to the company.

In December 2016, Byrne became the vice president of distribution for The Merrill Company, a role in which he leads distribution and logistics operations to ensure parts availability for 60 automotive-parts stores across the Midwest. He also has made it a priority to promote and foster a team environment of support, clear expectations and accountability, the company noted.
