Auto Value And Bumper To Bumper Honor Veterans At Pearl Harbor During Great Hawaiian Getaway Promotion

The group of 100 guests took a private tour of the USS Arizona Memorial and enjoyed an exclusive lunch on the fantail of the great American battleship, the USS Missouri.

Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper veterans were honored yesterday as the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance’s Great Hawaiian Getaway participants visited Pearl Harbor.

The group of 100 guests took a private tour of the USS Arizona Memorial and enjoyed an exclusive lunch on the fantail of the great American battleship, the USS Missouri (The Mighty Mo). Imperial Japan surrendered to the Allied Forces on the decks of the USS Missouri to end World War II. The mighty battleship last saw action during Desert Storm.

“It was truly humbling to be at Pearl Harbor today,” said Pat Winters, of Warren Distributing and The Great Hawaiian Getaway’s ambassador of fun, “I am honored to have shared this moment with folks who are not only great members of the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper family but people who are genuine heroes. I want to personally thank these veterans for their service to our country.”

The Great Hawaiian Getaway continues today with a snorkeling tour and a night out in Honolulu.

This technician promotion ran from October through November 2016. The lucky grand-prize winners received an entry into the sweepstakes with each $150 order of products from a select group of sponsors. A full list of the winners is listed on hawaiigetaway.net. The winning shops represent 20 states and five Canadian provinces. There were more than 108,000 entries during the promotional period.
