Meritor Earns Diamond Supplier Award From Navistar

Each year, Navistar recognizes its top global suppliers, including indirect material, freight and engineering services and direct production material suppliers, with the Diamond Supplier Award.

Meritor Inc. has announced it was among 34 suppliers to earn Navistar‘s Diamond Supplier Award, which recognizes the top 2 percent of Navistar’s supply chain. Recipients are selected for the award based on their ability to help the OEM improve customer uptime and also must exceed expectations for quality, delivery, technology and cost.

“We are proud to receive this award from such an important customer,” said Chris Villavarayan, president, Americas, for Meritor. “Our top priority is to be a preferred strategic partner to our customers and this recognition represents the importance we place on our relationship with Navistar.”

“We appreciate Meritor’s extraordinary effort over the past year,” said David McKean, vice president, procurement, for Navistar. “This recognition is well deserved by the Meritor team.”
