Collision Repair Education Foundation Announces More Than $750,000 In School Grants During Reception At SEMA

The grants were made possible through corporate donations and local I-CAR committees raising funds.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) announced more than $750,000 in collision school grants during its Education Foundation’s industry reception at SEMA. These were made possible through corporate donations and local I-CAR Collision Repair Education Foundation - Logocommittees raising funds that were provided to collision school programs that applied for the 2016 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant. The first round of awards include:  

  • Geico grants went to four collision schools through CREF
  • American Family Insurance donated $12,000 to CREF and sponsored 12 collision school grants  
  • Atlanta I-CAR committee awarded $44,000 in school grants
  • Erie 1 Boces Kenton Career & Technical Center awarded the CCC Information Services Inc. a classroom enhancement grant through CREF  
  • Greater Philadelphia I-CAR committee awarded $28,000 in school grants
  • I-CAR awarded 37 collision school grants through CREF  
  • Northern Virginia I-CAR committee awarded $12,000 in school grants
  • Nashville and Knoxville I-CAR committees awarded $48,000 in school grants
