David Graziosi, President Of Allison Transmission, Joins Fallbrook Technologies Board

Graziosi will help guide and expand strategic business development initiatives.

Fallbrook Technologies Inc., inventor of the NuVinci continuously variable planetary (CVP) transmission technology, has announced that David Graziosi, president, chief financial officer (CFO) and treasurer of Allison Transmission Inc. has joined the Fallbrook board of directors.

Graziosi has extensive executive financial management, strategic planning, investor relations and licensing expertise. He joined Allison in November 2007 as executive vice president, CFO and treasurer. In January 2016, he was promoted to the additional role of president. Graziosi is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified information systems auditor (CISA, non-practicing).

Prior to joining Allison, Graziosi served as executive vice president and CFO at Covalence Specialty Materials Corp. Before that, he held various executive-level positions within the industry at companies such as Resolution Performance Products LLC, Hexion Specialty Chemicals, General Chemical Industrial Products, GenTek and Sun Chemical Group.

Regarding his appointment, Graziosi said, “Fallbrook’s NuVinci CVP technology represents a major advancement in transmission technology. At Allison, we acknowledged its commercial viability and obtained a broad exclusive license from Fallbrook to develop and commercialize primary drivetrain transmissions for medium- and heavy-duty applications as well as made an equity investment. Now is an exciting time to join the board and I look forward to working with the executive team to further assist Fallbrook as it grows into a leading technology solutions company.”
