Big O Tires Expands Into Winnemucca, Nevada

For the past 17 years, Dawneen and Blake Lambert have operated their store independently as part of the Tire Factory cooperative, before recently joining the Big O Tires franchise.

Big O Tires, one of North America’s largest retail tire and automotive service franchisors, has opened its newest location in Winnemucca, Nevada. The store is owned and operated by Dawneen and Blake Lambert. With this addition, Big O Tires has 389 franchisee-owned and 2 company-operated locations in 19 states.

For the past 17 years, the Lamberts have operated this location independently as part of the Tire Factory cooperative. After evaluation of the industry, they have converted their retail location and are the newest members of the Big O Tires franchisee family.

“In my opinion, Big O is best in product and best in warranty from one side of the ocean to the other,” said Blake Lambert. “I have never been around a more professional and supportive team.”

This location marks the 20th Big O Tires location in Nevada. It opened March 30, and a grand-opening celebration is scheduled for the beginning of May. The store will offer passenger, light truck, tractor, farm and mining tires as well as automotive services.

Blake Lambert went on to say, “As a Big O Tires location, I am able to offer the same exceptional quality of service that my community has come to expect from me, but I can now offer what I believe to be better products, better prices and better warranties.”

“It’s exciting to see successful independent operators like Dawneen and Blake join the Big O Tires organization,” said Kevin Kormondy, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Big O Tires. “We are committed to helping each and every one of our franchisees; from the beginning stages of evaluation through facility assistance and training, we’re confident that our talented field support team can assist new franchisees to enhance the operation of their business. We’re thrilled to have Dawneen and Blake as part of the Big O family.”
