There are still more than 1 million veterans looking for full-time jobs with tens of thousands of soldiers leaving the military in 2016. Many employers aren’t getting the right information and networking help they need to successfully hire veterans, Reservists and National Guard members.
Center for America (CFA), a nonprofit, is conducting a national survey among employers to identify the specific problems that employers in different industries and locations are having in recruiting military candidates. CFA is funded by foundations and Phillips 66, and CAWA is committed to assisting them in getting the word out regarding the hiring of veterans.
CAWA is asking for employers’ help in completing a 10-minute questionnaire — anonymously if the company wishes — that will identify the challenges companies have experienced in hiring veterans. There are already hundreds of employers from all over the country that are participating in this survey. CAWA members, prospects and friends are encouraged to participate, as well.
The survey is located here: surveymonkey.com/r/36PW85F_CFA
In the first question, please input the code – G444. CAWA requests that participants complete the questionnaire by Feb. 8.
