Multi Parts Announces SPARK2015 Participants

This year, Multi Parts’ SPARK2015 will host 10 students, each of whom receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the AAPEX being held on Nov. 3-5 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

MPS - LogoMulti Parts has announced SPARK2015 student participants. SPARK2015 is a three-day industry immersion symposium, taking place within the AAPEX show. The SPARK Initiative was developed to introduce the next generation of aftermarket professionals to the industry at its largest, single event.

This year, Multi Parts’ SPARK2015 will host 10 students, each of whom receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the AAPEX being held on Nov. 3-5 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

In its second year, the SPARK Initiative has participants that are chosen from Global Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship (GAAS) scholarship winners from across the U.S. In addition to Multi Parts, this year’s participants received GAAS scholarship awards from The Larry W. McCurdy Memorial Scholarship Fund, established by Affinia Group Inc.; Bosch Automotive Aftermarket; The Breslow Foundation; The Car Care Council’s Women’s Board; Dayco Corp., Standard Motor Products; The University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF); and The Udell Family Foundation.

SPARK2015 gives participants a front row seat to see the aftermarket industry at its dynamic best. Among the various activities planned for student participants, the Luminary Breakfast and Lunch is included, including some of the biggest names from the biggest companies in the aftermarket industry.

New for SPARK2015 is the addition of the Veterans’ category. “The Veterans’ Category makes certain that men and women from our Armed Forces are introduced to our industry and all that it offers in a variety of career paths,” said Multi Parts’ Chairman Barry Cohn.

All SPARK2015 participants will wear Multi Parts’ shirts adorned with the U.S. flag. SPARK2015 veterans and members of the U.S. Armed Forces will have their branch of service embroidered on the sleeve.
