Chip Foose Receives 2015 NACE | CARS Top Custom Car Award

The award was presented to Foose and members of the BASF Automotive Refinish team at the recent 2015 NACE | CARS show in Detroit.

Chip Foose of Foose Design won the Top Custom Car Award from the Automotive Service Association (ASA) for his restyled 1965 Chevy Impala “Impostor.” The award was presented to Foose and members of the BASF Automotive Refinish team at the recent 2015 NACE | CARS show in Detroit.

The Impostor features custom paint from BASF’s Glasurit 90-Line in Impostor Pearl Dark and Impostor Pearl Light. This vehicle also won the 2015 Ridler Award at the Detroit Autorama in March. The Ridler is one of the custom car industry’s most prestigious awards.
