Sanel Auto Parts Makes $75,000 Donation To Boys And Girls Clubs

The $75,000 donation is part of a Community Development Finance Authority program. Businesses that donate to a CDFA-approved project can get at least 75 percent of that contribution back in the form of a state business tax credit. The CDFA supports affordable housing and economic development activities that benefit low- and moderate-income citizens in New Hampshire.

Sanel Auto Parts - LogoSanel Auto Parts Co. has made a major donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire. The donation will support building improvements at the clubs in Allenstown and Laconia.

“We are hopeful that, by donating $50,000 to the Allenstown club and $25,000 to the Laconia club for facilities improvements, kids in each of these communities will be better served by the clubs,” said David Segal, president of Sanel Auto Parts, Co. “Development of new club services will be the outcome of these facility improvements.

“For example, a supper program is in the planning stages. This program will provide nourishment and a full meal for children whose families have financial challenges and are unable to afford a complete dinner, or children whose parents are unable to prepare a healthy and full meal because of a work schedule or time-related issue,” he added

“Sanel Auto Parts has been a partner and supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire since our inception in 1944, back when we were called the Concord Police Boys’ Club. We feel very proud and fortunate to have earned the continued support from our friends at Sanel,” said Chris Emond, executive director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire.
