WELD Racing, John Force Racing Bring Hot Wheels Traveling Exhibit To Children’s Museums Across Nation

The Hot Wheels exhibit allows children to be part of a dynamic race team working together to build and test the world’s fastest and safest speed machines, using Hot Wheels diecast cars to experiment and play.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – WELD Racing is supporting a new exhibit, “Hot Wheels: Race to Win,” which opened last week at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. After concluding on Aug. 16 in Indianapolis, the exhibit will travel to other museums around the U.S. over the next five years, returning to the racing capital, Indianapolis, every summer.

Delta - Wheel on John Force Team Car
WELD Racing has supplied its Delta-1, a revolutionary one-piece forged drag racing wheel used by John Force Racing, as part of the new “Hot Wheels: Race to Win” exhibit that opened May 9 at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.

The fun and interactive exhibit encourages children to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) careers with a behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of racing by investigating the scientific process for designing super-fast cars.

WELD Racing has supplied its Delta-1 for the exhibit, which is a revolutionary one-piece forged drag racing wheel used by John Force Racing and available in three versions for Top Fuel/Funny Car, Pro Mod/Top Alcohol and Pro Stock. WELD Racing’s contribution to the exhibit will show children how to build a lightweight wheel that does not sacrifice safety for speed.

“We had the privilege of becoming part of the exhibit through our sponsorship of John Force Racing,” said WELD President and CEO Norm Young. “We are excited to be a part of an exhibit that features the most famous toy vehicles for children and encourages them to pursue scientific and automotive careers.”

The Hot Wheels exhibit allows children to be part of a dynamic race team working together to build and test the world’s fastest and safest speed machines, using Hot Wheels diecast cars to experiment and play. The exhibit provides hands-on experiences, authentic race gear and captivating memorabilia to engage families in the process of experimenting with speed, power and performance using Hot Wheels cars and track as their tools.
