Advance Professional Debuts VIN Scan App For Commercial Customers

The Advance Professional VIN Scanner, available for iOS or Android devices, captures a vehicle’s detailed description when scanning a VIN barcode and seamlessly uploads the decoded information into a shop’s secure Advance Professional online account.

Advance-vin-scanROANOKE, Va. – Advance Professional Driven by CARQUEST has launched a mobile VIN scan app designed to simplify business for its commercial customers. The Advance Professional VIN Scanner, available for iOS or Android devices, captures a vehicle’s detailed description when scanning a VIN barcode and seamlessly uploads the decoded information into a shop’s secure Advance Professional online account.

Existing Advance Professional commercial customers log-in to the app using their Advance Professional online account credentials. The app uses the mobile device’s camera to scan VIN barcodes, capturing vehicle descriptors including year, make, model and engine. This vehicle data is simultaneously uploaded to a shop’s Advance Professional online account, simplifying the parts ordering process.

Shops can store information from recently scanned vehicles within the app, and also easily connect with an Advance Professional Parts Pro.

The Advance Professional VIN Scanner is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for Android.
