NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Spanesi Americas, a leader in body shop technology, says it is expanding its staff to better serve its customers and the collision industry. The company has appointed Tom McGee as business development manager.

“We are extremely pleased to announce that Tom McGee has joined the Spanesi team in the role of business development manager” said Tim Morgan, managing director of Spanesi Americas. “Tom’s experience in the collision repair industry will be extremely valuable to our group as we continue to grow and provide exceptional products and service to our customers.”

McGee brings more than 30 years of experience in the collision industry to Spanesi Americas. His experience includes collision director for the Automotive Training Institute; collision industry relations manager for ALLDATA; and nearly 18 years at I-CAR, where he held a variety of positions including president and CEO and technical director. McGee is a graduate of Ferris State College in Big Rapids, Mich., and is an ASE Certified Master Auto Body and Paint Technician and Collision Repair Estimator. McGee, a recognized industry speaker, also was elected into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles in 2001.
