Women’s Board Holds Silent Auction At 2015 Winter Leadership Conference

BETHESDA, Md. – The Women’s Board will be holding its third annual silent auction during the 2015 Winter Leadership Conference, Feb. 4-5 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Fla.

New this year, attendees and non-attendees will have the opportunity to bid online on exclusive select items. Online bidding starts now and ends at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Feb. 4. All proceeds will benefit the Women’s Board scholarship fund.

Consider letting the program bid for you with your choice of a maximum bid by choosing the “proxy bidding” option. Attendees at the 2015 Winter Leadership Conference will have the opportunity to bid online at the silent auction booth during the conference.

The Auto Care Association released results from a new nationwide survey of repair shops highlighting the challenges that independent repair facilities face when servicing vehicles, often forcing them to turn away business.

The results indicate:

84% of independent repair shops view vehicle repair and maintenance data access as the top issue for their business, surpassing other timely considerations, like technician recruitment and retention and inflation.
