The Network Signs Fifth Parts Plus Mexico Member

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – The Automotive Distribution Network continues to expand its Parts Plus Mexico footprint with the signing of Grupo Jomar into membership, according to Mike Lambert, president of the Network.

“Recognized as one of the top franchises in Mexico, Grupo Jomar is a strong addition to the group as the fifth member signed to the Parts Plus program tailored specifically for the Mexico market,” Lambert said. “This growing, family-owned operation is by far the largest Parts Plus Mexico member, giving the group much more volume and greater buying power as the Network continues to establish the brand in the marketplace.”

Since opening more than 30 years ago in Monterrey, Grupo Jomar has expanded into 27 locations, with stores in Reynosa, Victoria and Guadalajara. President and CEO Marcelino Muñoz, who runs the business along with his sons, Pablo Alberto Muñoz and Angel Muñoz, is planning to nearly double the number of Grupo Jomar locations in 2015.

“As we continue to expand our company-owned locations and franchisees, this partnership with Parts Plus Mexico will enable our company to benefit from the Network’s marketing and IT solutions,” Marcelino Muñoz said. “As a Parts Plus Mexico member, Grupo Jomar will also add new product lines and carry greater parts inventory.”
