Gary Mercer Named Best Brakes Global Director Of Sales And Marketing

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Best Brakes, a North American manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake drums and rotors, has appointed Gary Mercer to the position of global director of sales and marketing.

In this position, Mercer will lead the sales and marketing team as well as the strategic growth of Best Brakes. Mercer brings more than 40 years of industry experience, leadership and professionalism with his expertise in the brake components segment. He will be responsible for sales and marketing of the current complete line of “Global Pro” premium brake drums and rotors as well as new products such as the “Global Pro” line of premium brake pads.

Mercer’s career has provided him with management experience with such industry giants as Tenneco, Raybestos, ITT Aimco, Brembo NA and IAP Dura International. He has served the industry for several decades on several committees within the California Auto Wholesalers Association (CAWA) and is currently on its Manufacturer’s Advisory Council and Membership Committee. Mercer is an alumnus of AWDA University and earned the designation of AAP.
