JACKSON, Mich. Last week, Melling/Dura-Bond hosted its 2014 National Sales Meeting at the Melling world headquarters in Jackson, Mich.
The company reported that the meeting was a "resounding success," with product line presentations, factory tours, future marketing programs and new product announcements taking place. The meeting was attended by all of Melling’s factory-direct sales people, as well as all of its factory representatives from the U.S. and Canada.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing Chuck Barnett noted, "We all now have a clear vision of the Melling/Dura-Bond future direction."
Melling is a leading manufacturer of oil pumps and other power train components, serving the global automotive original equipment and aftermarket industries. The company operates 10 facilities, located in North America and Brazil. The company’s Dura-Bond Bearing Co. division, based in Carson City, Nev., has 60 years of experience as a world leader in camshaft bearings, powder metal valve seats, valve spring shims and engine hardware design and manufacturing.
