GRANDVILLE, Mich. Hadley has appointed Tim Lampen to the position of fleet/dealer account manager. In this role, Lampen is responsible for developing new business within the fleet and dealer industry.
Hadley is a supplier of quality components and solutions for the Class 5-8 truck and tractor, trailer, transit and shuttle bus, RV, motor coach, specialty vehicle markets and associated aftermarket distribution.
Lampen heads up the sales of Hadley’s new electronic height control system, “SmartValve,” to dealerships and fleets throughout North America, with a focus on the Midwest. He also is the lead in developing and managing the Hadley SmartValve Discovery Tour, an educational on-site training session offered at no cost to dealers.
Lampen has more than 20 years of experience within the truck industry, including 13 years as a commercial transport fleet operator. He also managed service departments for US Xpress and Commercial Transport Inc., where he maintained 20 tractors and more than 60 trailers.
This September will be Lampen’s third year to serve as a SuperTech judge at the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) National Technician Skills Competition.
“Tim is well-acquainted with the service and maintenance requirements of fleets,” said Brian Kujala, director of sales for Hadley. “Because of his extensive training, experience and involvement with TMC’s educational events, Tim is able to provide our customers with better solutions, reflecting his thorough understanding of their needs.”
In addition to his leadership role with the SmartValve, Lampen also serves to support sales of all Hadley products (leveling valves, mirrors and air horns) in the Midwest and across North America.
