Catalog Managers Celebrate The Largest Class Of ACP Graduates

NCMA Conference closes with the graduation of 10 new automotive catalog professionals.

BETHESDA, Md. – A record class of automotive catalog professionals received their Automotive Catalog Professionals (ACP) graduation certificates at the 41st annual National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) Knowledge Exchange conference, held May 4-7 at the Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler, Ariz. This certificate is bestowed by the University of the Aftermarket to NCMA members who demonstrate a commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Brian Cruickshank, director of the Northwood University, University of the Aftermarket, presided over the ceremony conducted on the final morning of the conference. “This is the largest class of ACP recipients since the program was introduced in 2011 and demonstrates the value that NCMA members and their employers place on this designation,” said Cruickshank.

The 2014 ACP recipients are:

* Laurie Brooks, NAPA Balkamp
* Bryan Clements, Dayco Products LLC
* Ryan Langford, Tenneco
* Jonathan Larsen, MAHLE Aftermarket Inc.
* Ronald (Craig) Lee, Keystone Automotive Operations
* Paul Massingill, Tenneco
* Marc Pappas, Federated Auto Parts

“We are extremely proud of the ACP program for its recognition of the commitment to learning and professional development that it takes to succeed as a catalog manager in today’s content-rich environment,” said Brian Griffin, outgoing NCMA president and vice president of product management, Centric Parts. “NCMA members play a critical role in the sales success of their companies and ACP is a way for employers to recognize the best our profession has to offer. Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates.”

The annual NCMA Knowledge Exchange conference offers a comprehensive agenda of technical training, industry updates, keynote presentations and panel discussions. Highlights of the conference are the vendor and solutions trade show and the networking opportunities. This year, the Knowledge Exchange was attended by more than 330 members, vendors and guests. The 2015 conference will be hosted at the Disney World Swan Resort on April 19-22, 2015, in Orlando, Fla.
